The Godless Spellchecker Podcast

The Godless Spellchecker Podcast is an award winning weekly sceptical show in a conversational, interview format hosted by Stephen Knight. We hear from leading public figures as well as people without a public profile that have equally valuable experiences and ideas to share. The goal is to amplify good ideas and scrutinise bad ones. I think we've all learned something here today.

I had a great time talking with directors Ryan Moore and Tim Banks about their upcoming documentary film 'A Year Without God' (@YWG_film).  They followed ex-Pastor Ryan Bell around for a year as he set out to discover 'What difference does god make?' They share some exclusive insight into the film and tell us about their own paths to free thought.

We discuss their Nigerian backgrounds and the cultural/historical pressures surrounding being black and godless. Please show them some support.

President of American Atheists David Silverman (@MrAtheistPants) makes his debut on The #GSPodcast.  He explains how he became and atheist at just six years of age, and how that experience led him to activism.  He spills the beans on this years Atheist Convention in Memphis, with keynote speaker Ayaan Hirsi Ali! We also take the time to discuss his experiences of being in the belly of the beast (Fox News Studios), details on his upcoming book and his 'ATHE1ST' license plate.

David also issues a t-shirt related task for my American listeners and educates me on Mystery Science Theatre 3000.
