The Godless Spellchecker Podcast

The Godless Spellchecker Podcast is an award winning weekly sceptical show in a conversational, interview format hosted by Stephen Knight. We hear from leading public figures as well as people without a public profile that have equally valuable experiences and ideas to share. The goal is to amplify good ideas and scrutinise bad ones. I think we've all learned something here today.

Blasphemy is only the effect for the root cause which lies behind the religious conversions of Christian and Islamic traditions. Root cause is their conversion industry. Try to strike at the very root by denouncing these corporate affairs of both these God marketers. Until and unless one does it, such laws will resurface in one or the other form. Say for example the entry of religion in Whitehouse under the garb of USCIRF and its USIRFA 1998. Bill Clinton introduced it under pressure from or by using these Baptists and Methodists
to subvert their First Amendment. Then Hillary Clinton ran a full gloated 'get Modi' campaign in Whitehouse shamelessly that's been said to have been just reversed by Obama. Reasons are obvious. What I'm saying is as a paradigm. Hence the need is to strike at its root. Remember a thief is far more clever than lawmakers. An intelligent thief is to be dreaded most.

I am a "Gnostic". Any form of Blasphemy Laws should be abolished! I support the petition on Human Rights. Count me in the Petition that is being circulated. Thank You, Bruce M. Ireland

Everyone should have freedom of and from religion. These blasphemy laws do nothing to promote peace or respect for others, they only promote fear, ignorance and hate.

Blasphemy laws should not exist in the 21st Century.

As the administrator of the 'world's largest free speech' display for 20 years and continuing, I'm currently facing court sanctions on my ability to face the public subject to restrictions. The 1st amendment is being interpreted in a very 'restricted way' that is in essence calling free speech 'a form of blasphemy' that the US is legislating. Ironically, if I were a Muslim, my free speech rights in America would be 'hands off'. Fear reversed and the politicians would back off! Arhata

We should all be growing inward and toward a more spiritual foundation not a religious school of thought which is one of the roots of the many issues we are still contending with in this day and age.

You're doing a great work with your podcast, and I'll help spread the word and bring you more listeners. This stuff needs to get out to the masses!

Blasphemy laws should not exist in the 21st Century and should never have in the first place. Terrible - especially since there is no god.
